This is the only review you'll need
Every staff member was genuinely cute. Our beautiful room was spacious and comfortable, just what we needed after a long day. The facilities, including a lovely pool and steam room, were well-maintained. Dining here also featured some lovely options!

The best thing about this hotel is the leisure center where you can swim a bit or relax in a jacuzzi after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel is located in a very nice green spot by the Bantry pier and Bantry House and Gardens.
If you travel on foot, this hotel is not the best pick. It's about 2 miles from the city centre. The rooms are a bit tacky too, a bit unkempt (don't even check the plumbing in the bathroom). No functional soap disposal in the bathroom (broken pump), the bathroom was a bit worn out overall. The personel of the restaurant was great but the same couldn't be said about the receptionists who were a bit aloof.

We enjoyed the place and its large and savoury breakfast.
Everything was second to none, with superbly friendly and extremely polite staff, met standards. Was a super base for weekend.

The kids adored the pool, and the lobby is the perfect spot for a cheeky cocktail after a long day. The place is tidy and charming, just a touch vintage.
Those dated appliances in our cozy cottage could have used a bit of a makeover. I honestly thought the microwave might have been a prop from a 90s sitcom!

Thank you, I would have extended the stay. The venue is impressive, fairly clean and the location is marvellous adjacent to the beauty, grandeur and wild nature, the main restaurant and the peerless Sheep's Head peninsula. I have to mention the gorgeous breakfast with the coffee served, views into the countryside and toast. Overall the room is huge, luxurious and includes coffee facilities, heavy curtains and soundproof windows.
No.

The highlight was the delicious food at the bar, particularly the variety of vegan options. Don't miss the evening entertainment-it adds a wonderful touch to your stay!

This hotel was fine base for exploring Bantry, greatly enjoyed it and venue's courteous staff with good service. The location turned out to be marvellous and beautiful, just next door to the restaurant taking in the view and Bantry Bay harbour which was pleasant and taxis going in.

decent stay but needs more comfort
The staff were genuinely friendly. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The pool area was a hit with our kids, who enjoyed every moment! I found the surroundings to be beautifully tranquil, ideal.
The rooms could benefit from modern updates for better comfort.

Found the staff very helpful and accommodating. The dining room was excellent with wonderful views. While the bedrooms were clean and comfortable I feel that they need revamped but it would appear that the hotel is undergoing some modernisation so perhaps that will come in time. It is however a well situated hotel within walking distance of the town of bantry and suited our purpose very well as we were attending the chamber music festival.
Would welcome a revamp of the bedrooms

company and leisure centre
Customer service was poor. Receptionist was disinterested and gave incorrect responses to queries (ie no key at reception when there was and I had to wake people up before I realised) she gave wrong times for leisure centre and printed off incorrect checking out details. She appeared to not want to be there. Other services - restaurant in morning having to order food and again some staff unhappy to be there or serve customers.

We had a lovely stay in a comfy two-bedroom cottage where the kids enjoyed the pool and we relaxed in the sauna. There were so many fun activities for the whole family. The leisure center was super inviting. The only hiccup was that the restaurant didn't have long opening hours, but we still had a great time! 😊

The hotel is well located and just a 15min walk into bantry town. It is also very located to start the Sheep's Head walk.
Breakfast is a little pricey and maybe should be included in the room rate
